A sheep design lavender sachet filled with home grown lavender. Lavender has high concentrations of linalool and camphor which are natural insect repellents to such as moths, flies and fleas, so these sachets are perfect for hanging in wardrobes and placing in drawers to help protect garments from moths or can just be hung on a hook, door handle or drawer knob to admire.
Moths are drawn to animal based fibres such as wool, cashmere and silk where there is a source of keratin which is needed for larval growth. Moths will also damage plant based fabrics such as cotton and linen and also fabrics which are blends of natural and man made fibres. Damage to fabrics by moths can be extensive and heartbreaking to discover that they have munched through your favourite jumper.
Made from 100% cotton calico fabric with a suede/leather head and polyester ribbon legs. Also has a ribbon hanger and button eyes. The lavender aroma can be maximised by “fluffing” up the bag like a pillow regularly. The lavender aroma will fade with time but a few drops of essential lavender oil can be impregnated onto the sachet to extend the life of the characterful sheep!
Do not wash the sachet.
